Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was born February 26th, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He is one the richest and most famous Reggae singers. In the film that became a cult classic, Shottas the actor starred alongside Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was like Father Like Son. He also recorded several singles, such as Judge Not With Patra as well as Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) and the Who the Cap Fit remix and Sensimelia. All of these songs contributed to Ky's growing popularity among the young generation of reggae musicians. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell of Fugees on Avenue in 1997. It was an incredibly hit cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley appeared at Midem (international music showcase) during its time in Miami at the beginning of its run.
